I can see a big plume of smoke rising from the direction of town, and the sirens are pretty much constant now. Gunshots are more prevalent, too. I really wish I had some weapons and supplies about now. I don't know what is going on, but things are getting stranger every minute. Luckily, it doesn't seem like much is going on right here; we're kind of tucked back away from the main road, so hopefully whatever is going on passes us by...

I've been hearing scattered reports from friends about a zombie uprising. I'm really not sure what is going on, but after what I saw this morning, I am getting worried. The power here at work has flickered a couple times, and I am hearing intermittent sirens and occasional gunshots in the distance. This is getting weird.
